Pink Floyd
Catalogue No: PF004JF
Artist(s): Pink Floyd
Location: Dressing room, The Dome, Brighton, UK
Date: June 1972
Edition: 30/30/30
Print type: Traditional Darkroom Print (Hand printed from the original negative)
Paper type: Ilford Warmtone Fibre Based paper
A rare band shot of Pink Floyd from this period taken by a young Jill Furmanovksy at the start of her photography career.
Jill recalls, "One of a series of relaxed images taken by this very inexperienced photographer. At this point I was still a first year college student with no more than two weeks education in photography. The flash I was using did not cover the width of the lens and there is fall-off both to the left and to the right. However, it is a very rare band shot from that period, and such merits inclusion here."
This image is available as a 20x16" silver gelatin print in an edition of 30. It is also available as a giclee print at sizes A1 or A0 from an edition of just 10. All prints are numbered, signed by Jill Furmanovsky and come with a certificate of authenticity.
