Jill Furmanovsky recalls, "When I began Rockarchive in 1998 with a choice of 30 Images from my archive, this was the first image that came to mind. As well as being great musician B.B. King was a most nobel man, and that summed up Rockarchive’s underlying philosophy: to bestow dignity on the true musicians and also the art of rock and roll photography."
