Jill Furmanovsky recalls, “One of my favourite ever gigs was Chic at Hammersmith Odeon in 1979. From the start everyone was on their feet dancing”. Rock’s Backpages founder, Barney Hoskyns was there too. He says in his review “The show totally swept me off my feet and transported me to a place of heavenly ecstasy.”
It is also Nile Rogers’ favourite live picture of the band. To him the image is an affirmation to himself “Nile, you worked so hard to bring this music to the people –- job well done!”
