ROLLING STONES, Mick Jagger, Pyramid Stage, Glastonbury 2013. A classic Stones show with arguably the greatest playlist of any rock band ever. And Charlie was still with them and it was epic. Only not sure about Mick's green sequinned jacket, but that's a minor quibble!

I met the enchanting Yungblud backstage at the acoustic tent at Glastonbury 2022. He had just performed a brilliant version of 'Up the Junction' with his friend and mentor, the great Chris Difford of Squeeze. He couldn't have been more generous in posing for a few pictures for me against a blue portacabin which reflected his extraordinary eyes. You can just see the outfit he wore later on to perform his own set on the John Peels stage to uproarious aclaim. His new single 'Breakdown' is awesome...

Towards the end of a tremendous set Simon launched himself high into the air by jumping off a speaker. Unfortunately he landed awkwardly injuring his his leg and had to be helped off the stage by crew members. Then, as I remember it, he was treated by a doctor in the wings who happened to be the saxophone player in the band Stornoway, who are playing Glastonbury this weekend! Not a lot of people know that!
