The Police supporting Cherry Vanilla at the Marquee Club, London in June 1977.

Jill Furmanovsky recalls, “They were supporting Cherry Vanilla at The Marquee and grateful for the gig.Sting had this to say when he looked at this image in 1990: ” I can pinpoint when it is, which is bizarre because it seems like another life. What is funny about this photograph is that we look so young and innocent, at the time we felt older than everybody else. I was 26, but then everyone tended to be 19. We look incredibly young, like babies.” (extract from Jill’s book, ’The Moment’).”

This image is available as a 20×16″ silver gelatin print in an edition of 30. It is also available as a giclee print at sizes A1 or A0 from an edition of just 10. All prints are numbered, signed by Jill Furmanovsky and come with a certificate of authenticity.
